SPMC OFFERS CANDIDATE PROGRAMMING BETWEEN NOW AND ELECTION DAY

Sun Prairie residents will have some important decisions to make when they head to the polls on April 2. And the Sun Prairie Media Center is offering programming to help residents make those decisions.

SPMC recorded the SPARC (Sun Prairie Action Resource Coalition) Candidate Forum on March 3 at the Sun Prairie Public Library. This debate featured candidates for Dane County Board, Sun Prairie City Council and Sun Prairie School Board. This event aired live on KSUN Now. The debate will re-air several times before the election and it is available to view on-demand at: sunprairiemediacenter.com/ksun

On March 8, “Talk of the Town” moderators Don Hooser and Steve Sabatke will host a forum for City Council candidates in competitive races. District 2 candidates include Bill Baker and Santiago Rosas and District 4 candidates include Cassi Benedict and David Virgell.

Following that, on March 15, “Talk of the Town” will feature a forum with the four Sun Prairie School Board candidates. These candidates include Albert Chen, Alwyn Foster, Bryn Horton and Teran Peterson. Constituents will be able to select two candidates in this category when casting their vote.

When the programs are captured and complete, they will be available to watch on-demand at sunprairiemediacenter.com/ksun or on the SPMC channels on Roku, Apple TV, or Amazon Fire TV, or on the SPMC mobile app.

Of course, the programs are also running on the community cable channel KSUN Life. Please check sunprairiemediacenter.com/life-schedule/ for details.
