SPMC OPENS “THE RATCLIFF REPORT”

The Sun Prairie Media Center is pleased to announce a new collaboration with Melissa Ratcliff, member of the Wisconsin State Assembly representing Wisconsin’s 46th Assembly District, which includes Sun Prairie and Cottage Grove.

The program, which the SPMC hopes to produce quarterly, is called “The Ratcliff Report,” and will include news and information about what is happening at the state capitol, how it affects residents of Sun Prairie, and reports from Rep. Ratcliff about community events past, present, and future.

“I was so excited when Jeff Robbins first approached me with the idea of doing a show detailing what is going on at the Capitol and the work we are doing to serve the 46th Assembly District. I thought that this would be a phenomenal opportunity for us to share information and updates with our constituents in a new and innovative way that was outside the norm of sending out mass emails. It also gave me the opportunity to collaborate with organizations in my district, like the Sun Prairie Media Center and uplift the amazing work they do. I am excited to continue giving updates to District 46 and working on the Ratcliff Report.”

The premiere edition of “The Ratcliff Report” is now available for on-demand viewing at sunprairiemediacenter.com, the SPMC app, and on the SPMC’s Roku, Apple TV, and Amazon Fire TV channels. It will also be broadcast on KSUN, available on TDS and Charter Spectrum cable systems. Check www.sunprairiemediacenter.com/ksun-schedule/ for airdates and times.

Interviewing Rep. Ratcliff for part of the premiere episode is Sun Prairie city council member Steve Stocker. Hosts and special guests for future episodes will be announced later.

“I’m very pleased that Rep. Ratcliff has agreed to collaborate with the SPMC for a series of programs,” said Jeff Robbins, director of the Sun Prairie Media Center. “This program fits our mission perfectly of producing programming designed to inform our community. I look forward to working with Rep. Ratcliff and her staff for a long time to come.”
