SUN PRAIRIE MEDIA CENTER TIPS OFF CARDINAL AND WOLVES PLAYOFF COVERAGE THIS WEEK!

The historic first year of having both Sun Prairie East and Sun Prairie West athletics continues and the Sun Prairie Media Center is thrilled to announce that it will be broadcasting the WIAA playoff basketball games for both schools.

The Sun Prairie Media Center is your exclusive home for video and audio coverage of all WIAA playoff basketball games, boys and girls, Cardinals and Wolves. Video coverage will be on KSUN with audio coverage on 103.5 FM The Sun Community Radio.

The girls’ playoff bracket gets underway first as Sun Prairie plays . . . Sun Prairie! Yes, in an unexpected seeding oddity, the #13 Sun Prairie East Cardinal girls will visit the #4 Sun Prairie West Wolves girls on Friday, February 24 at 7 PM. The winner of that game will take on the winner of Friday’s game between #5 Oregon vs. #12 Brookfield Central Saturday night.

The boys’ playoff bracket starts almost as quickly as the #16 Sun Prairie East Cardinals boys host the #17 West Allis Central Bulldogs on Tuesday, February 28 at 7 PM. The winner will travel to play #1 Arrowhead on Friday, March 3, at 7 PM. Also on March 3 at 7 PM the #9 Sun Prairie West Wolves boys’ team will open their playoff run at #8 Madison LaFollette. (In the case of a conflict, one of the games will air on KIDS-4.)

KSUN is available on Charter Spectrum on channel 983, on TDS on channel 13 (SD) and 1013 (HD). Games can also be streamed live via the SPMC’s Roku, Apple TV, and Amazon Fire TV apps and on the SPMC app, available to download for free from Google Play and the App Store. 103.5 FM is available on your radio dial or streaming on tunein.com.
